Biography:

Coach Rinks is the most successful head softball coach Lake Fenton has had. He has more than 400 career wins with teams in Indiana and Michigan. 

When Coach Rinks captured his 400th career win in 2017, he told the Tri-County Times:

“I am not done coaching so these so-called milestones are just stepping stones,” Rinks said. “I hope to be able to coach until I get 400 wins in Michigan. If wins were so important to me, I could schedule less competitive teams and accomplish this goal quicker, but this is not about me. It is about helping these hard working Lake Fenton girls get another state title someday, and hopefully soon. I have great assistant coaches. I have great young players that want to win and play hard. I have some good talent coming in from the junior high for our future. That kind of combination lends to great possibilities. We set high goals each year to strive for, but they are not too high that we can’t attain them.”

Coach Rinks also teaches Mathematics at Lake Fenton High School. 

Biography:

Coach Myers is Lake Fenton's assistant coach, and he is the Physical Education teacher at Lake Fenton High School. 

Coach Myers is active in coaching softball in school and for his daughter's summer travel softball program. 

Biography:

Coach Draeger has been assisting Coach Rinks and the Lake Fenton varsity softball team since his daughter, Melody, a four-year varsity starter at Lake Fenton, began playing here in 2012. He is responsible for keeping score, managing stats, and keeping the dugout warm and full of snacks. 

Mr. Draeger is a volunteer in the program and works in the private sector as a pre-sales solutions consultant for an international software company.
